CENTERVILLE LEGION POST 214, meets the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Continental at St. Joseph’s in the meeting room to the right of the V.A. office.
APPANOOSE COUNTY WEEKLY MEALS, invites everyone to enjoy a free meal and fellowship every Monday at Faith United Methodist Church on Highway 5 south near John Deere. Meals are available from 5-6 p.m. The menu for Monday will be ham, cheese fortellini, salads, garlic bread and strawberry shortcake with milk, lemonade, water, coffee or tea. First Evangelical Lutheran Church will be hosting this meal. There will be no meal due to Memorial Day on Monday, May 27.

JOIN NEST, a parent education class for expecting parents or parents with children up to 3 years old. Any parents can attend by filling out an enrollment packet. There is a class held at 1:30 p.m., one at 5 p.m. and one at 6 p.m. each Tuesday at the Extension Office, 501 N. 12th St. in Centerville.
TAKING OFF POUNDS SENSIBLY, “TOPS,” meets Tuesdays at 6 p.m. at the First Baptist Church. Weigh-in begins at 6 p.m. and meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. Everyone welcome.
AMERICAN LEGION 280, in Moulton, will meet the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Legion Hall.
TOUCHING OUR GRIEF, an ongoing educational grief and support group though HCI Care Service, meets the third Tuesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. at the office HCI Care Services, 103 E. HONEY CREEK, 9–10 a.m. – Insect Hike – Grab your bug nets and join a naturalist for this one hour hike to learn about the insects of Honey Creek. Meet at the Activities Building. Wear comfortable clothes and be prepared to go off trail. Great for all ages. 3:30–4 p.m. – Activities Building Tour – Meet on the Activities Building deck to tour Honey Creek Resort’s newest facility and learn how it utilizes existing technologies to be a leader in green living.
