APPANOOSE COUNTY WEEKLY MEALS, a free meal and fellowship is held every Monday at Faith United Methodist Church on Highway 5 north of John Deere. Meals are available from 5-6 p.m. Rides are not being provided at this time. The menu for today will be rice-broccoli-turkey casserole, carrots & celery with honey, muffins, ice cream, brownies with milk, water,coffee or tea to drink. SPORTSMAN’S FEST, will be geld at Lighthouse Church of the Nazarene in Moravia. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. There will be a turkey hunting seminar presented by OUtdoors Dan and the featured speaker will be Jason Cruise, host of Spring Chronicles on the Sportsman Channel. The will also be vendors a wild game feed, a silent auction and a large display of mounts including African animal mounts. There will also be a hot donut eating contest, youth bow shoot and turkey calling contest. A grand prize rifle will be given away.
