CAUCUSES, will be held for both Democrats and Republicans in Appanoose County at 7 p.m. at Centerville High School to elect delegates and alternates to the county convention. Open to all registered Republicans and Democrats.

BOB GROUP, meets at Centerville City Hall at 7:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

JOIN NEST, a parent education class for expecting parents or parents with children up to 5 years old. Any parents can attend by filling out an enrollment packet. The class is Tuesdays at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. and Thursdays at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the Extension Office, 501 N. 12th St. in Centerville.

TAKING OFF POUNDS SENSIBLY, “TOPS,” meets Tuesdays at 6 p.m. at the First Baptist Church. Weigh-in begins at 6 p.m. and meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. Everyone welcome.

AMERICAN LEGION 280, in Moulton, will meet the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Legion Hall.

TOUCHING OUR GRIEF, an ongoing educational grief and support group though HCI Care Service, meets the third Tuesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. at the office HCI Care Services, 103 E. WEDNESDAY 22

HONEY CREEK, 9–10 a.m. – Adventure Hike – Join a naturalist on this interactive one-hour hike to discover the nature of Honey Creek Resort State Park. Meet in the Activities Building. Wear warm, comfortable clothes and be prepared to go off trail. Great for all ages.

UNIONVILLE IOWA LEGION POST, meets the first Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m. at Legion Building.

NARCOTICS ANONYMOUS, meets Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. in the basement at Mercy Medical Center. Call (641) 856- 3398 with questions.

THURSDAY 23

HONEY CREEK, 4–4:30 p.m. — Nature Bingo Hike – Be the first to get a black out on your bingo card during this 30 minute hike. Meet in the Activities Building. Wear warm, comfortable clothes and be prepared to hike outside. Great for all ages.

APPANOOSE COUNTY TOBACCO FREE COALITION, meets the third Thursday of each month at Drake Public Library.

CELEBRATE RECOVERY, is held every Friday at 6 p.m. at Centerville Assembly of God, 1020 E. Maple St. in Centerville.

MEMORY MINDERS/ALZHEIMER’S ASSOCIATION, holds a support group on the third Friday of each month at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville at 9 a.m. Facilitator Sherrie Doggett may be contacted at (641) 437-4111.

DOGGIE DAY, will be held at Drake Public Library from 12:30-2 p.m. Patrons can visit with some of our dog friends. They will be able to pair up with one of the dogs to read out loud to them.

HONEY CREEK, 11–11:30 a.m. – Fly Tying – Tying flies is a great way to enhance your fishing experience. Join a naturalist in the lodge lobby to learn this useful skill.1-1:30 p.m. – Paper Snowflakes2-3 p.m. — Adventure Hike — Join a naturalist on this interactive one-hour hike to discover the nature of Honey Creek Resort State Park. Meet in the Activities Building. Wear warm, comfortable clothes and be prepared to go off trail. Great for all ages.3-3:30 p.m. – Activities Building Tour – Meet on the Activities Building deck to tour Honey Creek Resort’s newest facility and learn how it utilizes existing technology to be a leader in green living.6-6:30 p.m. – Nature Tales – Join a naturalist around the Activities Building fire ring to enjoy s’mores and listen to stories about nature. If the weather is too severe for the outdoor fireplace, we will enjoy the nature tales from the warmth of the Activities Building.

SUNDAY 26

GRACE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH IN MORAVIA, will be hosting a special dinner featuring the well-known Grace Church homemade noodles. The menu will include both beef and noodles and chicken and noodles, along with salads, desserts and drinks. Serving hours are 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. A free-will donation is requested with all proceeds going to the new Moravia-Grace Fellowship Hall. Besides church use, the Fellowship Hall is available for use by the Moravia community and surrounding area. The church is located at 101 E. North St. in Moravia.
