The Franklin Farmhands met March 26 for their regular meeting. Some things that were discussed were: Swine state fair show changes and market lamb and meat goat weigh-ins will be Saturday, May 3 from 8-10 a.m. at the fairgrounds. Livestock ID forms for 4-H need to be turned in to the extension office by May 15.
Demonstrations were given by Kaley and Wyatt Monohon on how to make bird feeder packets without a bird feeder.
The pledge to the 4-H flag was led by Nadia Howell and the pledge to the American flag was led by Dugun Glenn.
The next meeting was scheduled for Sunday, April 6. The group planned to meet at the Promise City shelter house at 2:30 p.m. and clean up roadside ditches. The club planned to provide drinks and all members were asked to bring a snack.
