APPANOOSE COUNTY WEEKLY MEALS, a free meal and fellowship is held every Monday at Faith United Methodist Church on Highway 5 north of John Deere. Meals are available from 5-6 p.m. Rides are not being provided at this time. Join a naturalist for they half hour hike and create your own nature experience. Meet on the deck of the Activities Building. Wear comfortable clothes. Great for all ages. The trails are relatively flat and easy to walk.
HONEY CREEK, 11–11:30 a.m. – Nature’s Toy Box – Join an interpreter in the lobby to investigate the toys nature provides for us. Participants nut bring their own imagination and be prepared for fun. Great for all ages.
1 p.m. and 3 p.m.– Recycled Christmas Ornament, – Learn now to take common items around your house and turn them into amazing Christmas ornaments. Participants will make an ornament to take home and some to decorate our recycled Christmas tree which will be decorated on Thanksgiving weekend. Meet in the basement of the Activities Building. Great for all ages.
2–3 p.m. – Animal Cache – If you were a squirrel, where would you hide your cache? Join a naturalist on this one-hour hike to look for winter hiding places. Meet at the Activities Building. Wear comfortable clothes. Great for all ages.
6–6:30 p.m. – Nature Tales – Join a naturalist around the Activities Building fire ring to enjoy s’mores and listen to stories about nature.

44th ANNUAL CHRISTMAS MUSICALE, featuring area churches will be held at 2:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Centerville. An offering will be taken up for The Lord’s Cupboard. Refreshments and carols will follow in the church basement. Everyone is welcome.
