July blood drive collects 36 units

---- — The July 2 blood drive held at Grace Tabernacle Baptist Church in Centerville was a success, with 38 people registering to donate and 36 units of blood being collected at the event.

A special thank you goes out to Rose Cunningham and TTT AS and the Hospital Auxiliary for helping to organize and sponsor the drive. Working at the registration desk was Barbara Smith. Working at the canteen were Vivian Huisman, Pat Albright, Beverly Kirby and Doris Seat. Providing sandwiches were Helen Marvin and Doris LaPaglia. Nancy Kirkpatrick, Pauline Golick and Rose Cunningham called donors. Advertising was provided by The Daily Iowegian, KCOG, Community 1st Credit Union and Larry Bettis.
