This enchanting tale, based off the 2001 DreamWorks movie of the same name and the 1990 book “Shrek!” by William Steig follows the adventures of our favorite giant green swamp dweller, Shrek, and his talking donkey companion (aptly named Donkey) as they travel through fairytale kingdoms, castles, and country sides to rescue Princess Fiona and learn important lessons along the way.
With featured appearances from Pinocchio, the Sugar Plum Fairy, Wicked Witches, Dancing Rats, the Three Blind Mice, the Gingerbread Man, many Princesses and featuring a star filled child ensemble of local Fairfield talent, Shrek the Musical is fun for the whole family.
To further entice audiences, local favorite back after his winning role as John in “Miss Saigon” and the Top Tenor of Plaid Tidings, Chaz Williams Ali will fill the stinky yet inspiring boots of the title character.
