---- — The Exline Ramblers met on Sunday, April 6 at the Exline City Hall at 1:30 p.m. There were 16 members present.

Haley Argenta, Jakob Bauer, Makayla Bauer, Colton Cowan, Jasmine Fernandez, Lexy Hedgecock, Connager Logsdon, Trey McCoy and Wyatt Tait volunteered to help serve and clean up at the Exline Recreation Easter dinner at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 6 as well. The Exline Recreation Committee was pleased with their help.

During the meeting we reviewed our attendance, reminders for county fair deadlines and discussed our plans for our annual mum sales.

Anyone wishing to order mums from the Exline Ramblers or the “Little” Exline Ramblers can contact leaders Shawn Tait at (641) 895-1094 or Jodie McCoy at (641) 799-4450 and they can make member referrals to you. The Ramblers are pre-selling mums between now and May 2. Mums are planted in a 10 inch pot and are $15 each. Payment is due upon order. Approximate delivery date is Sept. 21. Colors available are orange, yellow, red, purple, pink and white. The mums are home raised by a member of the Exline Ramblers, Karson Gonnerman, and his family business “The Pumpkin Patch.” If you would like to give this for Mother’s Day and promise them a mum in the fall, the Ramblers have Mother’s Day certificates available. The Ramblers may choose to offer this during the Appanoose County Fair and take orders for those who might miss this opportunity.

The Ramblers next meeting will be on Sunday, May 4 at 3 p.m. to do our annual Adopt-a-Highway trash pick up along County Road T-30 in Exline. The Ramblers and the “Little” Ramblers will join forces to get this done together.
