A total of 41 people registered to donate blood and 45 units of blood were collected at the recent Centerville Community blood drive which can be used to save 111 lives.

Committed volunteers are key to maintaining the blood supply in our local community.
The Daily Iowegian, KCOG and Community 1st Credit Union advertised for us. Without them we wouldn’t be able to get the date, time and location out and also many churches put this in their church bulletins.
LifeServe Blood Center provides blood and blood products to more than 100 hospitals located across Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota. Eligible blood donors must be at least 16 years old, should weigh at least 120 pounds and should be in general good health.

There were a total of 14 walk ins, 33 whole blood donations and six double red donations collected for the day, a day made possible only by all the donors and helpers.
