Join a naturalist for this half hour hike and create your own nature experience. Meet on the deck of the Activities Building. Wear comfortable clothes. Great for all ages. The trails are relatively flat and easy to walk.
HONEY CREEK, 11–11:30 a.m. — Constellation Viewers — Join a naturalist in the lodge lobby to make a star wheel and a constellation to take home. Great for all ages. Paints will be used while making prints. Wear something that can get dirty.
1 p.m. & 3 p.m. — Recycled Christmas Ornament – Learn now to take common items around your house and turn them into amazing Christmas ornaments. Participants will make an ornament to take home and some to decorate our recycled Christmas tree which will be decorated on Thanksgiving weekend. Meet in the basement of the Activities Building. Great for all ages.
2–3 p.m. — Birding Hike — Join a naturalist for this one hour hike to discover the birds of Honey Creek Resort State Park. Meet on the deck of the Activities Building. Trails may be uneven. Some binoculars and birding guides will be provided but guests may bring their own. Great for all ages.
5:30-6:30 p.m. — Full Moon Hike — Join a naturalist on this special one hour hike lit by the full moon. Meet on the deck of the Activities Building. Trail may be uneven and lit by the moon. Wear comfortable walking shoes and warm clothes. Great for all ages.
