Rays celebrate 50th anniversary

---- — Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Janice (Smothers) Ray of Unionville, Mo., exchanged vows 50 years ago on Oct. 20, 2963 in their home. The best man was Larry Cowan and the maid of honor was Karen Cowan of Cincinnati.

Janice is the daughter of the late Wayne and Irene Smothers. Robert is the son of the late Cecil and Octa Ray.

From this union, Robert and Janice Ray had five children, nine grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Their children are Robert Ray, Jr. and wife, Leisa, Roger Ray and wife, Lori, Christy Allen and husband, the late Tad Allen, Ryan Ray and wife, Kim, and Renee Ray.

Their grandchildren are Kayla Blaser and husband, Dustin, Kelsey Ray, Kolby Ray, Dottie Ray, David Ray, Justin Allen and wife, Sara, Chris Allen and wife, Tamara, Madison Allen, Raylene Ray, Alyssa Ray and Vanessa Ray. Great-grandchildren are Stella Blaser, Roman Harris and Charlie Hansell.

Join us in celebrating this wonderful milestone with Robert and Janice Ray with a reception Sunday, Oct. 20 from 2-4 p.m. at the Manhattan Restaurant in Centerville. No gifts per request of the Ray family.
