The Exline Ramblers met on Sunday, March 16 at the Exline City Hall from 4-6 p.m. with 22 members and one visitor present.
The meeting consisted of junior presentations, sewing potholders and working on our community project scrapbook. We also reviewed our attendance and completed our club livestock identification form. Junior member Myles Clawson gave a presentation on his experience with being on the 10 year old Appanoose County State Baseball team.
Special thanks to Maryann Hurley, Connie Foster, Shaniel Smith and Shawn Tait for their leadership with the sewing project and to Mariah and Myles Clawson and Wyatt Tait for providing refreshments.
The Ramblers next meeting on Sunday, April 6 at 1:30 p.m. with our main focus on the Mother’s Day mum sale.
However, if members want to come and help volunteer to work at the Exline Easter dinner they may do so at 11:30 a.m. at the Exline City Hall. Other volunteer opportunities for the Ramblers are to help with the Exline Clover Kids on Sunday, March 23 at 1 p.m. at the home of David and Kathy Steele and also help plant flowers with the Exline Royal Neighbors on May 3. If any Ramblers want to be a part of the Relay for Life Team they can contact Rhonda Hedgecock for a packet.
