---- — The Centerville Talented and Gifted students in grades 4-8 competed in a creative problem solving contest called Destination Imagination at Ames Middle School on March 3.
Each team chose a problem too solve. The students worked for three months on their solutions. They competed in three different problems at the elementary and middle levels. All teams advanced to the state contest on Saturday, March 29.
Fourth grade placed first in fine arts elementary level. Fifth grade placed third in scientific elementary level. Sixth grade placed first in scientific middle level. Seventh grade placed second in scientific middle level. Eighth grade place fifth in structural middle level.
