TOUCHING OUR GRIEF, an ongoing educational grief and support group though HCI Care Service, meets the third Tuesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. at the office HCI Care Services, 103 E. HONEY CREEK, 9–10 a.m. – Trails, Tracks and Scat – Join a naturalist during this one hour hike to uncover the trails, tracks and scat animals have left behind. Meet at the Activities Building. Wear comfortable clothes. Great for all ages. The trails are relatively flat and easy to walk.
11–11:30 a.m. Mammal Clue – Which Iowa mammal is the only marsupial native to North America? Meet a naturalist around the lobby fireplace to learn about Iowa’s amazing wildlife and touch some furs.
1–1:30 p.m. Tricky Tracks – Join an interpreter in the lodge lobby for a hands on discovery about what trackers can learn by studying an animal’s trails, tracks and scat. Meet in the lodge lobby. Great for all ages.
UNIONVILLE IOWA LEGION POST, meets the first Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m. at Legion Building.

Some binoculars and bird guides will be available but participants may want to bring their own. The trails are relatively flat and easy to walk.
11–11:30 p.m. – Nesting Supplies – As the birds return for the spring they will begin to build new nests. Join a naturalist in the lodge lobby to create a nesting supply box filled with materials birds can use.
