Monday, March 17 we will have an Irish dinner with; Irish stew (Shepard’s Pie), steamed cabbage, soda biscuit, banana and orange cup with a cookie. Our party will start at 11 a.m. with trivia games and the drawing for the handmade quilt. This quilt is on display at the club. Jackie Zemo has hand quilted it. The quilt is absolutely beautiful and has raised a lot of money for the club. The lucky winner need not be present to win. If you are interested in purchasing chances stop by the club.
Tuesday, March 18 we will have Wii golf. We have a beginner’s heat that starts at 10 a.m. and an advanced heat that starts at 10:30 a.m. If interested, call or stop by and sign-up.
Wednesday, March 19 we will have our Fresh Conversation’s Program at 11:15 a.m. The menu for the day will be; baked chicken breast, sour cream mashed potatoes with gravy, brussel sprouts and strawberries.
Thursday, March 20 will be our monthly Birthday Party with co-op and bingo at 5 p.m. Bring a covered dish and table service. The meal will be at 5 p.m. followed by bingo. With the change in daylight savings we will be able to have several of our seniors back in attendance.
Friday, March 21 Nancy Klum will offer at the club a free card making workshop that starts at 9:30 a.m. All supplies will be furnished and everyone will leave with a beautiful finished greeting card. Monday, March 24 we will be having a meeting for all of those going on the Washington D.C. trip. We will discuss our tours while in D.C. and our day in Gettysburg at 1 p.m. We will also go over some of the travel questions that many have asked. The menu for the day is; salisbury steak with gravy, oven brown potatoes, broccoli Normandy, diced peaches, fresh bread and orange juice.
