---- — MOULTON — State Rep. Larry Sheets, of Moulton, will return to the state capital in Des Moines in January and has stated that he wants to address Rural Improvements Zones, mandatory state prison term reductions and jobs.
“Though our state — overall — is doing well economically, counties inside our district like Appanoose and Wapello are still facing high unemployment rates. The other two counties, Mahaska and Monroe, could also use some help” Sheets said. “I’ve talked with our state economic development director, and I’m hopeful to work with her to bring jobs to southern Iowa.”
Though Sheets has set an agenda, he stills wants to hear from his constituents inside District 80.
“My job is to represent the people of my district whether they support me or not. I need to hear from them to do my job,” Sheets said.
Rep. Sheets said people can contact him by phone at (641) 895-6153 or (515) 281-3221 and by email at email@example.com.
