This will make the office more accessible to veterans. “Pat’s efforts in helping Veterans Affairs obtain grants and Bill’s help in getting the new office ready are much appreciated,” said Carter. The certificate reads, in part, “Pat and Bill McAfee were instrumental in the coordination, supervision and construction of the Veterans Affairs office and the purchasing of office equipment and furniture. In so doing, the director and administrative assistant can interview and process veterans and widows applications for benefits in a timely and professional manner in an office that promotes the value of Appanoose County Veterans.”
