---- — Geraldine “Geri” Margaret Poli, 86, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014 at Polk City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Polk City.
Geri was born in Plano on Jan. 14, 1927 to Iva Miller Potter and John Potter
While her health was still good, she enjoyed camping, fishing, playing cards and enjoying her grandchildren.
Those left to honor her memory include her three children and spouses, Dixie (Keith) Bridges of Marion, Texas, Jim (Paula) of West Des Moines and Paul (Ruth) of Inman, S.C.; brother, Larry Potter of Plano; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters; three brothers; and grandson, Todd Bridges.
Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and a private burial of the cremains will be at a later date.
