---- — Donald L. Kirby, 80, of Moulton, died Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at the Bloomfield Care Center in Bloomfield. He was born the son of Erca and Bessie (Adams) Kirby on Nov. 23, 1932 near Moulton. He graduated from the Moulton Community High Schools in 1952.

He served his country toward the end of the Korean Conflict with the United States Army. Donald was first united in marriage to Beverly Marvin, and they were later divorced. Then on March 4, 1978, He was united in marriage to Karen Taylor in Seymour. He was a farmer northeast of Moulton for many years and owned Don Kirby Tiling and Drainage Systems. He was a member of the Orleans Church of Christ and a member of the Moulton American Legion.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Bert Kirby; and sisters, Betty Keep and Bonnie Davis.

Donald is survived by his wife, Karen Kirby of Moulton; son, Dennis Kirby and his wife, Rochelle of Independence, Mo.; daughters, Donna Guinn and her husband, Greg of Independence, Mo. and Lisa Budiselich and her husband, Guy of Moscow Mills, Mo.; stepson, Rodney Bankes of Reno, Nev.; and stepdaughter, Stephanie Mankowski and her husband, Mike of Waukesa, Wis.; sisters, Wilma Brinegar of Moulton and Joann Replogle of Moulton; a brother, Jack Kirby of Bloomfield; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 11 at the Orleans Church of Christ northeast of Moulton with the Rev. Jerry Weller officiating. Burial with full military rites will follow in the Sunset View Cemetery north of Moulton. Visitation will be held today from 2-8 p.m. at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Moulton with the family present from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
