---- — Michael W. Sedgwick, 57, of Cincinnati, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013 at his home.

He was born May 6, 1955 in Centerville, the son of Winfred and Geneva (Conger) Sedgwick. Michael married Brenda Kumer on Nov. 29, 1973 in Davenport, and to this union, three children were born, Alisha, Mike and Summer.

He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. Michael enjoyed riding his four wheeler every day. Most importantly, he loved the time he was able to spend with his grandchildren. Through his passion with woodworking, Michael loved building different keepsakes for the grandkids.

He is survived by his wife Brenda Sedgwick of Cincinnati; three children, Alisha (Trevor) Thomas of Unionville, Mo., Summer (Brant) Harbert of Unionville, Mo. and Mike (Gina) Sedgwick of Kirksville, Mo.; six grandchildren, R.J., Samantha, James, Tyler, Chris and Tierra; and one great-grandchild, Aleigha.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

According to family wishes, Michael has been cremated. Memorial services will be held at a later date. A memorial has been established to the Michael W.
