Ezra enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his wife. When he was able, Ezra and Connie traveled to Pikes Peak and Yellow Stone National Park. Ezra enjoyed going camping and being the person in charge of keeping the camp fire going. He also enjoyed watching Family Feud, The Price Is Right, Wheel of Fortune and Saturday Night County Music Festival. Most importantly, Ezra enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He was a member of the Centerville Church of Christ where he enjoyed Sunday services, Wednesday night Bible studies and giving communion meditation. Ezra served as an usher, as well as on the men’s board.
Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 13 at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville with the Rev. Larry Hudson officiating. A visitation will be held on Tuesday at the funeral home from 3-4 p.m. An inurnment will be take place at a later date in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery in Chariton, Mo.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to the family of Ezra Hermon and may be given to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa 52544.
