George Kenneth McCloud, 45, of Mystic, passed away on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.
George was born on Aug. 8, 1968 to Greg and Karen McCloud in Centerville. After graduation from Centerville High School in 1986, George went to work for Wells Manufacturing, operating a fork lift. George was the kind of man who gave of himself and his time to help others. He loved his time with the Volunteer Fire Department in Mystic and helping on the board of Relay for Life. George enjoyed hunting, fishing and putting together puzzles with his grandmother, Adeline. He was a familiar face to many, whether you were at the Pale Moon, on the Centerville Square or the many town fire departments. George always welcomed you with a smile and a “Hey Ole Buddy!”
