The Daily Iowegian

---- — Jacqueline “Jackie” (Cattaneo) Clark, 71, of Yuma, Ariz., formerly of Mystic, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2013 in California.

She was born Feb. 27, 1942 at Mt. Pleasant, Penn., the daughter of Jack and Gertrude Hart Cattaneo. During her life she learned to multi-task early raising four boys that were very active in all sports. She learned to do laundry at different times through the day. She also learned to drop off different things at several places in a short time (boys, shoes, clothes, gloves, etc.) as she may have four games at four different playing fields a night. After she learned this, she started to help out at the family business, Clark’s Thermogas. After the boys were out of school she thought she knew everything about multi-tasking. She became a nurse, a career that lasted more than 25 years. She married Billy Donald Clark Aug. 13, 1960 in North Lake, Ill.

She was very active in the Order of the Eastern Star and was a state officer. When the family was young they spent their summers camping at the lake. She loved to play bingo and enjoyed traveling. She had lived the last 14 years in Yuma, Ariz.

She is survived by three children, Doyle Clark of Yuma, Ariz., Randy (Londa) Clark of Webster City and Brad (Debbie) Clark of Centerville; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Joyce Seddon of Centerville; and a daughter-in-law, Barbara Clark of Yuma, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy; two sons, Russell and Scott; a sister, Beverly Cattaneo; and her parents.
