Susan Camille Stellpflug, 55, of Lexington, S.C. went to heaven on Wednesday, March 19, 2014.
Camille was born Feb. 3, 1959 in Britton, S.D. and graduated from Centerville High School in 1977. She married Walter Stellpflug in 1985 and Walter’s career gave them the opportunity to live in Iowa, Virginia and North Carolina before relocating to Lexington, S.C. in 1999.
Camille is survived by her husband, Walter; her parents, Robert and Alberta McKinley; brother, Robert (Joan); sister, Melissa Cabrajac; nephew, Jacek Cabrajac; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was an amazing and adventurous woman who joined the National Guard Military Police in her younger years, went skydiving and more recently bought a motorcycle which she enjoyed riding. Not only was she a courageous woman, but also a talented one. Camille made beautiful dried floral decorations and many other crafts. God’s creatures had a special place in her heart, especially her beloved cats, birds and butterflies. She was a very patient, kind, loving woman who was a good listener and would give you her complete and undivided attention. Camille loved the Lord and her family. You will be missed Camille.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 6 at Riverbend Community Church of Lexington, S.C.
