---- — Shane (Sam) Edward Bills, 59, of Mystic, entered into eternal life on Sunday morning, Oct. 13, 2013 at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.

He spent many years driving for the Yellow Cab Company. Sam later moved to Mystic to help operate the family business, The Mystic Auction House, where he and his brothers auctioneered. When the family business closed, Sam found himself auctioneering at Highway Five Auction, owned and operated by his good friends, Rob and Nedra Mudra.

Sam enjoyed gambling, playing cards, as well as calling for bingo. He often called bingo for the Mystic American Legion. Due to health issues, Sam was unable to auction or call bingo the last few years but he continued to attend auctions in order to buy and resell auction items. Most importantly, he cherished the time he spent with his friends and family, especially the grandchildren.
