It should also be noted that Bob achieved 50 years of service in the Masons. He was also an active member of the Shriners in both the Kansas City and Springfield, Mo. areas while he was a resident of Sedalia. Bob was also a long standing member of both the Centerville American Legion and the VFW.
He is survived by his sister, Marjorie Sedgwick of Ocala, Fla.; sisters-in-law, Anne Greene, of Centerville, Wanda Summy of Des Moines and Betty Greene of Moline, Ill.; a niece, Denise (Gary) Howe of Centerville; nephews, Glen (Marian) Rodgers of Ohio, Tom (Kris) Greene of Illinois, Brent Sedgwick of Arizona and Stephen (Mary) Sedgwick of Florida; niece-in-law, Harleen Greene; and many great-nieces and -nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Fonda Mae Greene; his parents; two brothers, Ladd and Tom Greene; a sister, Beverly Rodgers; nephew, Roger Greene; and niece, Jenny Greene.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday March 18 at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville with the Rev. Jeremy McElvain officiating. A visitation will be held Monday at the funeral home from 11 a.m.-7:30 p.m. with the family present from 5-7:30 p.m. A Masonic Service will take place following the visitation at 7:30 p.m. at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial with military rites will take place in the Hilltown Cemetery south of Moulton.
Memorials have been established to either the B.O.B. Group (Betterment or Bust) or the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Centerville and may be given to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 S. 18th. St., Centerville, Iowa 52544.
