---- — Lillie Mae Logston, 71, of Cincinnati, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville.
Lillie was born in Stockton, Calif. on Jan. 12, 1942 to Clarence and Goldie (Gulley) Seyler. She married James E. Logston on April 15, 1961 in Davenport. Lillie worked numerous jobs throughout her life, including at McGraw-Edison, Centerville Schools, Hy-Vee and Konvenience Korner. She enjoyed caring for pets, gardening, planting flowers, bird watching and time spent with her family and friends. Lillie was a member of the First Christian Church in Cincinnati.
Lillie is survived by her husband, James E. Logston, Sr., of Cincinnati; four children, Judy (Jon) McDonald of Unionville, Mo., Patty (Shane) Conger of Princeville, Ill., Jimmy Logston of Cincinnati and Chris (Paula) Logston of Centerville; seven grandchildren, Jason (Ashley) McGrann of Bondurant, Jordana McGrann of Branson, Mo., Jayna McGrann of Bondurant, Chad Conger and his fiancée, Heather Schertz of Princeville, Ill., Kyle Conger of Princeville, Ill., Emilie (Jason) Harwell of Centerville and Mallory Logston of Cincinnati; two great grandchildren, Mason McGrann of Bondurant and Kenzie Conger of Princeville, Ill.; and a sister, Shirley (Joe) Varese of Pennsboro, W.Va.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Betty Abbott and Helen Moran.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 1 at Thomas Funeral Home with the Rev. Kay Singley officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior from 1-2 p.m.
