---- — Mary Margaret Adams, 79 of Unionville, Mo. passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at her home in Unionville Mo. surrounded by family.

Mary Margaret Adams was born in York County, Neb. on March 11, 1934 to Francis (Frank) and Gladys (Ivy) Adams of Waco Neb. She received her education from Exeter High School graduating in 1952. Mary Margaret went on to York College where she studied elementary education. She graduated in 1954 and taught kindergarten and first grade in McCool Junction, Neb. She met her first husband, Doyle E Clinkenbeard at York College and they married June 20, 1954 south of Waco, Neb. residing in York Neb. While Doyle served in the US Army (Korea) Mary Margaret managed Harvey Lane Accordian Studios in York, Neb.

Mary Margaret spent most of her life as a homemaker raising five children. She worked as a waitress at Grants Truck Stop at the Waco exchange during the time her father managed it. The family relocated too several communities including Centerville, Des Moines, Waco, Neb. and York, Neb.

Later in her life she lived in Auburn, Neb., Salina, Kansas, Bellevue, Neb. and Unionville, Mo.

She loved being a homemaker, raising her five children and spending time with her family on the Adams farm south of Waco. Neb. She loved to read, sew clothing for herself and three daughters and while in Bellevue, Neb. taught herself how to paint with oils. She adored her grand and great-grandchildren.

Mary Margaret is survived by one sister, Velma Jane Cain (Paul) of Burwell, Neb.; one brother, George A. Adams (Mary) of Unionville, Mo; five children, Katherine Janette Clinkenbeard of Unionville Mo., Cynthia Beth Rash-Petrovich (Michael) of Omaha, Neb., Douglas Eugene Clinkenbeard (Hui Sun) of Elizabethtown Ky.,, Melinda Sue Garland (Lucas) of Unionville, Mo. and Timothy Paul Clinkenbeard (Christine) of Unionville, Mo.

Grandchildren include Justin Moravec of Unionville, Mo., Heather Moravec of Kirksville, Mo., Joshua (Joey) Rash, Brooks Rash, Drew (Sisa) Rash and Paige Petrovich of Omaha, Neb., Christina (Matthew) Vaughn of Rineville, Ky., Dustin and Devin Clinkenbeard of Elizabethtown, Ky., Racheal Garland of Bloomfield, Andrew (Kim) Garland of Bloomfield and Nicole (Chris) Farrell of Russell, Lacey Clinkenbeard and Ashley Garrison of Salina, Kansas and Hunter Clinkenbeard of Unionville, Mo.

Great-grandchildren include Trinity and Maxwell Rash of Omaha, Neb., Leyani Reeves-Petrovich of Omaha, Neb., Alexa and Ronin Vaughn of Rineyville, Ky., Shandler Hitchcock and Blaze O’Grady (Garland) of Bloomfield, Kaden, Noah and Tucker Fisk (Garland) of Unionville, Mo. and Claire, Connor and Catelynn Garland of Bloomfield.

Funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. today at Thomas Funeral Home. Interment will be in Exeter Cemetery, Saturday, May 25 at 2 p.m. in Exeter, Neb. Visitation was held Thursday, May 23 at Thomas Funeral Home with the family present from 6-8 p.m.
