Q. Why do you want to be Centerville’s city administrator?

A. I would be honored to serve as the city administrator of Centerville. I have prepared myself academically for this position as well as with my current position with the state of Iowa. I believe Centerville has a lot of potential and if chosen I look forward to making a positive difference in this community.

Q. If selected, what would be your first order of business? Something that needs immediate attention?

A. My first order of business is to meet with the mayor and council as well as community members to determine what they believe to be the critical issues to be addressed in the near future. From the interview process it seems the infrastructure is a major concern as well as economic development.

Q. What has been your impression of Centerville and the people who live in this area?

A. My wife and I have enjoyed meeting the mayor, council, senior management team and community members. We are very familiar with the area and look forward to becoming a part of the community. We had a great experience interacting with everyone we met in Centerville and I would like to personally thank everyone involved in the process.
