‘Welcome to Medicare’

Learn more about Medicare by attending a “Welcome to Medicare” seminar presented by the state of Iowa’s Senior Health Insurance Program and Milestones Area Agency on Aging. People who will receive Medicare in the near future are encouraged to attend to understand Medicare parts A & B benefits, prescription drug benefit (Part D), Medicare Advantage plans and supplemental insurance. Three general election debates

URBANDALE – The Branstad-Reynolds campaign announced that it will participate in three general election debates in Des Moines, Burlington and Sioux City to debate his general election opponent, Jack Hatch.

The debates are as follows:

n IPTV State Fair Debate on Thursday, Aug. 14 at the Penningroth Media Center, Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines with taping at 4 p.m. Topics: All.

n Greater Burlington Partnership with The Hawk Eye and KWQC TV-6 on Saturday, Sept. 20 from 7-8 p.m. at the Edward Stone Middle School in Burlington. Topics: Economic prosperity and job creation.

n The Siouxland Chamber of Commerce with the Sioux City Journal, KTIV TV-4 and KSCJ Radio on Tuesday, Oct. 14 from 7-8 p.m. at the Orpheum Theater in Sioux City. Topics: All.
