Iowa State University Extension’s Crop Advantage Series offers something for everyone involved in crop production and protection in Iowa. One of the series’ 13 statewide meetings will be held in Ottumwa at the Bridgeview Center on Jan. 31.

The day-long event will feature state and area specialists in general sessions and workshops on topics selected for this area including; Can I afford to apply nitrogen for my corn crop? Phosphorus and potassium management when yields and fertilizer costs are rising? and Managing crop margins and markets.

Participants may also choose to gain credits for Iowa Private Pesticide Applicator recertification during the day. Crop Advantage meetings are approved for continuing education units for Certified Crop Advisors.
