The Roaming Red Hat Mamas from the Centerville /Albia Chapter began the holiday celebrations in November with a tea given in their honor by member Sharon Cooper in her home. Those attending are shown in the photo above. Cooper’s home was decorated for the season and songs were sung, gifts were given along with lots of visiting.



In December, the chapter held a Christmas party at the home of Karen Tuttle in Albia. There were a gift, exchange, Secret Pal exchange, Bingo, a hat contest, singing and a potluck meal. Attending were Marlene Fitzsimmons, Beth Jager, Mary Thompson, Karen Tuttle, Sharon Coop­er, Pat McDanel, Sandy Kennelly, Wanda Robinson, Rita Short, Kathy Sherrard, Mary Peterson, Vice Queen Matilda Barber and Queen Rose Haskell.

There will be many outings in the new year including visiting other chapters. There will be a prom in June, then the Iowa Red Hat Convention in Des Moines in July. They will have a float in the Pancake Day Parade and many other activities.
