God had provided us with many blessing this fall, such as faith, friends, family, fellowship, adoration , affirmation, love, loyalty, listen, learn, live and scripture pertaining to each. She read a modified poem by Helen Steiner Rice about love on our birthday.

Marjery Wade brought her niece Rama Harris of Redding, Ca. who is visiting her as a guest. Several women attended from Moulton First Christian.

Vaness Oden, our speaker, delighted us as she arrived as “Madge” in costume, and kept us laughing . Madge had words of wisdom about what to carry in your purse, how to dress, what jewelry to wear and words about church from Dorothy Haines of Exline.

She was a delightful person, her father Donald Oden attends our church, and she brightened our day. Even though we had a few sprinkles, it was cooler and windy, Vaness brought a ray of sunshine to our day and fun Those in attendance had a delightful afternoon.

Our tea table was decorated by Jewell Bryant . Cookies for the tea were provided by Shirley Sherwood, Sally Bauer, Bea Hoover, Letha Crawford and Jo Moffitt. and were served with tea and coffee.
