Centerville Assembly of God, located on Highway 2 East in Centerville (just past Don Elen Motel), will be sponsoring a public auction this Saturday, June 9, from 10 to 1 p.m.

Dick Allen will be the auctioneer for the event, and it will be held at Johnson’s Moving and Storage on Hwy 5 South, across from John Deere.

Some of the items to be auctioned off include: 1995 Plymouth Voyager, appliances, store display cooler, piano, furniture, Lawn Boy mower, a handmade quilt, and a handmade oak rocking horse. In addition, the church is auctioning off a powered parachute ride for the whole family.

The church will also be serving walking tacos from 11 to 12:30 p.m., as well as fresh cinnamon rolls from 10 to 11 a.m. All of the proceeds from the auction and the dinner are going to the church’s missions fund.

The first week of July, a group of seven from Centerville Assembly are going on a work missions trip to El Salvador. The team will be helping in the construction of a Bible College in Usulutan.

For more information about the auction, the El Salvador Missions Trip, or for more details about the church’s ministry, call the church office at (641) 437-HOPE.
