Wednesday was last day for Centerville jobs office

CENTERVILLE — The state of Iowa's IowaWORKS, Southern Iowa office at 1015 N. 18th St., Centerville, officially closed its doors Wednesday night, Aug. 31 at 4:30 p.m.

The office employed four full-time employees.

The office served people looking for work and other employment services.

In its place are two Virtual Access Points in Centerville. Access Point I is located at Indian Hills Community College; Access Point II is located at Drake Public Library.

The nearest One-Stop Center to Centerville is located at 310 W. Main St., in Ottumwa.
