WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Dave Loebsack joined 81 bipartisan members of Congress at an event to unveil a package of legislation called “Make Government Work.” These pieces of legislation are commonsense measures to help make government more efficient, effective and less wasteful.
“Since I was elected to Congress, I have made it a priority to reach across the aisle to work together to actually accomplish something to move our state and nation forward,” said Loebsack. “It is time for Washington to stop the partisan food fights and start working together to find commonsense solutions like Iowans do every day.”
The No Labels Problem Solvers coalition is a group of 81 House and Senate Democrats and Republicans meeting regularly to build trust across the aisle and to develop solutions for the American people.
