ACCF accepting applications for grants

---- — The Appanoose County Community Fund is now accepting applications for grants to fund community projects in Appanoose County in 2014. Any qualified non-profit organization in Appanoose County is eligible to apply.

Applications may be obtained on line at www.appanoosecounty.org and clicking on the “ACCF Application” tab at the top of the page.

Completed applications must be returned to AEDC, 101 W. Van Buren St., Ste. 1 Centerville, IA 52544 by 3 p.m. Friday, March 28.

This year the Appanoose County Community Fund will distribute more than $97,000 in grant funds. It is anticipated that all available funds will be awarded to successful applicants in May.

Since the fund was established in 2006, more than $600,000 has been distributed to more than 120 qualified non-profit groups in Appanoose County.
