All of the outages were storm related. As many as 800 customers were without power in Centerville. Severe outages are also being reported in surrounding areas such as Ottumwa and Linn County.
Stensland said many customers in the area should have power restored this evening. Customers that are "individual outages" that need door-to-door specific attention may be without power until Monday morning.
