CENTERVILLE — The Centerville Schools Foundation welcome all alumni and friends to a brunch at the high school cafeteria from 8-10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6.
The Appanoose County Historical & Coal Mining Museum will be hosting a Homecoming open house on Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. CHS alumni are encouraged to attend. Admission is free.
The Centerville Band boosters will be providing food at spirit night as a fundraiser for the program tonight starting at 5 p.m. at Lakeview Elementary. Purchase a pork loin sandwich supper for $6 or a hot dog supper $4 and both include chips, bars and bottled water.
The Ironman volleyball game is tonight at 6 p.m. at the Centerville High School gymnasium.
Tonight following the junior high school football game the Powderpuff game will take place at Paul Johnson football field.
Friday is Scarlet and Black Day at the high school. Pep Chapel starts at 1 p.m. with a cake and punch reception to follow in the high school gymnasium. Following Pep Chapel, tours of the high school will be given.
The Centerville Big Reds Homecoming football game is Friday at Paul Johnson football field. Freshman kick off at 5 p.m. with varsity starting at 7:30 p.m. against Carlisle.
On Saturday, Oct. 6 the high school Homecoming dance will be held at Faith United Methodist Church from 8-11 p.m. Cost is $5 per person.
