CENTERVILLE — Local law enforcement arrested Troy Lee Hilty, 42, of Centerville, Wednesday afternoon on an outstanding warrant from July.
A press release from the Centerville Police Department says that Hilty was arrested at the intersection of 7th and Washington Streets in Centerville at approximately 1:47 p.m. Wednesday.
Hilty was charged with delivery of methamphetamine, a schedule II substance. The charges stem from an investigation by the South Central Iowa Drug Task Force that began in July.
The press release says the Appanoose County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the arrest. The project is funded by a grant from the US Department of Justice.
