Council donates for fireworks
The city of Exline during their June 3 meeting that started at 6:30 p.m. voted to donate $500 for fireworks for the fourth of July.
The city is in need of volunteers to put playground equipment up before the fourth of July. The council discussed house nuisances.
Jennifer Buban for the house at 101 W. Wall will give the council a list and time frame of completion of windows, roof and wall.
George Johnson plans to help the city with the properties at 218 W. Wall and 124 W. Main.
The council decided that they need to reword the ordinance on open burning to state only trees, leaves and grass can be burnt.
The council discussed a call from Bert Dalmar on property in Exline at 102 W. Wall St. The council minutes do not indicate what was discussed.
The 6:30 p.m. meeting adjourned at 7:35 p.m. The next Exline City Council meeting is at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 1.

Council sees fowl in town
The Plano City Council met Monday, June 2 at 4:30 p.m. There was discussion about chickens being raised in town.
Council member Nancy Jones made the motion to have the city send a letter asking the people with the chickens to come to a council meeting to discuss the city’s ordinances regarding livestock. The motion carried.
The next Plano City Council meeting will be Monday, July 7 at 4 p.m.
