PUTNAM COUNTY, Mo. — A northern Missouri father and son are facing multiple felony charges in connection with an insurance scam, according to a story posted on the KTVO web site.
Mark Henry Sr. 47, of Unionville, Mo., is charged with 11 counts of forgery, one count of identity theft and one count of fraud in connection with the sale of insurance. His son Mark Henry Jr., 26, of Lucerne, Mo., is charged with four counts of forgery, one count of fraud in connection with the sale of insurance and one count of felony stealing.
Both are being held in the Davies-DeKalb County Regional Jail. Henry Sr. has a $150,000 bond while his son is held on a $85,000 bond.
The two men allegedly forged the victims' names on life insurance policies and then pocketed commissions on the sales.
