---- — The Appanoose County Board of Supervisors Monday morning in regular session in the Courthouse Boardroom approved a resolution to sell land in Moulton.
Caleb Jay and Marshall Jay for $5,000 plus one year’s taxes, cost of recording the deed and publication of public hearing notice purchased the north 25 feet, 9 inches of lot two, block 24 in Moulton.
The board in other action:
• Approved a fireworks permit for Appanoose County Baseball.
• Approved the resignation of Rachelle Nielsen in county Auditor’s Office effective July 17.
• Approved a request from Nathan Golston to change from agriculture to residential a parcel of land in Independence Township to enable him to build a home.
• Tabled until Aug. 5 the social host ordinance.
The Appanoose County Board of Supervisors next meeting is 9 a.m. Monday. Aug. 5 in the Courthouse Boardroom.
