The 2014 Appanoose County Fair kicks off Monday, July 21 for a six-day run.
The 2014 Appanoose County Fair is dedicated to Curtis Sebolt for his many years of dedication to the fair.
The nighttime entertainment line up starts Monday night, July 21 at 7 p.m. with the fair dedication ceremony, 4-H Fair Mom and Dad and introduction of the Queen candidates. At 7:30 p.m. the Bill Riley Talent Show starts. Watch the crowning of the Appanoose County Fair Queen for 2014 and fireworks at dark sponsored by Iowa Trust and Savings Bank.
Tuesday night, July 22 at 7 p.m. enjoy Mutton Bustin' for children ages 3-7. At 7:30 p.m. T&C Rodeo Company takes over.
Wednesday's night entertainment is the same as Tuesday's with Mutton Bustin' for children ages 3-7 at 7 p.m. and T&C Rodeo Company at 7:30 p.m.
Thursday night, July 24 enjoy Twin States Tractor Pulling at 7:30 p.m.
Friday night, July 25 enjoy Mud Drag at 7 p.m.
Evening entertainment for Saturday, July 26, the last day of the 2014 Appanoose County Fair, includes a demolition derby at 8 p.m.

7 a.m. to 12 p.m. weigh in; 8:30 a.m. 4-H Family/Consumer Sciences; 12 p.m. Cloverkids Pet Show; 3 p.m. Junior Dog Show; 5:30 p.m. 4-H Pet Show in the show arena.
Tuesday, July 22:
8 a.m. Junior Swine Show; 10 a.m. Open Class Fruits, Vegetables and Field Crops judging; 10 a.m. Home Economics Open Class Culinary Arts judging; 10 a.m. Open Class Plants and Flowers judging; 10 a.m. Open Class Amateur and Professional Art judging; 10 a.m. Open Class Photography judging; 11 a.m. Junior Bucket Bottle Calf with Junior Bucket Bottle Calf Show immediately following interviews; 1 p.m. Cloverkids Exhibits; 1 p.m. Open Class Textiles, Hobbies and Crafts judging; 2 p.m. Junior Dairy Show, Junior Dairy Goat Show and Junior Meat Goat Show; 5 p.m. judging of the 17th annual Pie and Cake Baking Contest in the Exhibit Building.
