MOULTON — The Moulton City Council held their year-end meeting Tuesday, June 24 at 6 p.m. in the City Hall meeting room and voted to appropriate the 2014/2015 budget.
The council voted to approve a resolution to borrow up to $20,000 to purchase another ambulance. The loan from Success Bank in Bloomfield comes with a 4 percent interest rate.
The council did approve a resolution to transfer $5,000 from the Fire Department to the Ambulance O&M to purchase the old ambulance.
A second attempt to purchase an eight channel DVR, 1TB hard drive, Varifocal Dome Camera’s 700 TVL and one microphone for $1,048.21 came down to Randy Welch and Jason Ogden voting aye and John Replogle abstained because of work conflict. Ben Hansen and Eddie Guinn were absent.
The 6 p.m. meeting adjourned at 7:08 p.m.
Moulton’s mayor is Scott Snider. Moulton’s City Council members are Jason Ogden, Randy Welch, John Replogle, Eddie Guinn and Ben Hansen.
