Exline Council discusses mandatory garbage pickup

---- — EXLINE — During Exline’s City Council meeting on Tuesday, July 1 the Exline Ramblers 4-H club donated six benches and one table to the City Park. The council approved the benches and table and they will be mounted on concrete pads.

The council heard complaints about dogs running at large, open burning, pot holes in alley and a tree needs to be trimmed on Second Street.

The council discussed the idea of mandatory garbage pickup to eliminate open burning.

The next Exline City Council meeting is set for Tuesday, Aug. 5 at 6:30 p.m.

The meeting that started at 6:30 p.m. adjourned at 7:35 p.m.

Members of Exline’s City Council includes Gary Hall, Mary Ann Hurley, Ann Sinclair, Jim Burns and Terry Hand. Exline’s mayor is Jim Casteel.
