Geothermal heating and cooling on display

---- — Gilbert Home Comfort invites local residents to a one-of-a-kind event in Cincinnati aimed at debunking myths about geothermal heating and cooling. The family-owned HVAC company has arranged a live geothermal loop demonstration to showcase how to tap into the free, renewable source of energy that the technology can provide.

The event will be held at 30527 Highway T20 in Cincinnati on Saturday, June 14 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and is for anyone interested in knowing more about how geothermal heating and cooling works and about having a geothermal heating and cooling system. Gilbert Home Comfort representatives, WaterFurnace Territory Manager Rick Rockacy and utility company representatives will also be on hand to answer questions. Food and refreshments will be provided.

“This is a great opportunity for the community to get an up-close look at the installation process of a geothermal loop and see how easy it is to convert your home to geothermal heating and cooling,” said Steve Gilbert, owner of Gilbert Home Comfort. “A lot of people don’t realize that they have solar energy stored in the ground below their homes. This energy can provide up to 70 percent savings on costs of heating, cooling and hot water.”
