Mercy Auxiliary revamps bazaar into Holiday Boutique

The Daily Iowegian

---- — Members of the Centerville Mercy Hospital Auxiliary met on Monday, Sept. 30 at the First United Methodist Church to make plans for the coming “Holiday Boutique” formerly known as the Hospital Bazaar.

The Holiday Boutique is to be held on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church. The event is being reorganized and will include a breakfast of hot cinnamon rolls, egg casserole and potato bites with coffee and other beverages. Lunch will include chicken salad plate along with several sandwiches and soups with pies and cakes for desert. Delivery will be available for businesses on the Square.

A Man’s Room will sport special tools and men’s gifts, a Children’s Room will feature painted furniture, toys, American Girl doll clothes and much more. Check out the pink bicycle and the Hawkeye jersey. The wool purses being made are all the rage. Let’s not fight over them. A new look in holiday décor is the big surprise. Beautifully lighted trees and gorgeous decorated items will delight. The delicious candy, breads, cakes gifts for your kitchen, baby gifts and Christmas tree ornaments will tempt you again. Grab a special cake at the cake walk. Free cupcakes for all children participating in the cake walk. The grand finale will be the drawing for the quilt offered each year.

Join the party on Saturday, Nov. 2 at the First United Methodist Church. An elevator is available to reach the basement.
