The Centerville-Rathbun Lake Area Chamber of Commerce-sponsored Holiday Sampler Open House Saturday, Dec. 7 had 18 participants. Most were on the Centerville Square, while several were off the Square. The Holiday Sampler Open House is in it’s 12th year. Partakers travel between participating businesses to sample holiday goodies and collect the recipes.

Below left, from left are Dannco employee Richard Talbot, of Centerville, Marcy Shinn, of Centerville, who said she planned to visit every Sampler participant, and Pat Keep, of Centerville, a 17-year Dannco employee. Talbot made three samples: Cranberry Meatballs, Pine Cone Cheese Ball and Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts.
