---- — The Appanoose County Board of Supervisors Monday, Oct. 7 voted to hold a public hearing Monday, Oct. 21 to consider the sale of railroad right-of-way located in Washington Township. Following the public hearing an auction will be held and the property will be sold to the highest bidder with the county reserving the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
In other action:
The board accepted the resignation of Tommy Lowe, Udell Township Trustee.
The board approved Teddy Clark III position change to mechanic effective Sept. 23 at $19.48 per hour.
The board approved preliminary design contracts for two bridges.
The board approved changing a portion of l00th Avenue and 610th Street to Level C.
The board voted to approve an agreement to use CVS CareMark for discounted drug
coverage to Appanoose Mental Health Community Services consumers.
Margrit Ballanger received a pay increase to $25.66 an hour and the Board of Health contracted with Kris Lauson from Appanoose Community Care Services for $3,000 per month.
